The National Federation of Healers is a non-denominational, non-profit organisation in Australia. Our members, who are practitioners of a diverse range of modalities, are provided with a wide range of opportunities for their growth and development.

The object of the Federation is to support members who provide spiritual healing, practical and emotional support and counselling to:

• The sick

• Those with life-threatening illness &

• Those in grief

What is Spiritual Healing?

Spiritual Healing has many names, some of which are:  Therapeutic Touch, Psychic Healing, Reiki, Esoteric Healing, Pranic Healing.  All these therapies have been derived from the ancient practice of the laying-on-of-hands.  There may be a difference in the methods used, but essentially they are the same.  It is based on the fundamental assumption that there is a universal LIFE ENERGY that sustains all living organisms, this universal life-force is free and available to all.

When healing, the Healing Therapist learns to attune to the universal life-force by conscious intent, then direct the healing energy to the patient, to revitalise their depleted life-force.  This allows the patient's body to heal itself.  As renowned English healer Matthew Manning once said to a doctor, "Neither you or I can heal anyone, all we do is create the best environment for the body to heal itself."
